Many eXp agents work with clients searching for homes abroad or relocating across regions.
HomeHunter is built to handle international activity — automatically aligning each user’s experience to the right region, currency, and language.
How Regions Work
Region Matching
When an agent or homebuyer signs up, HomeHunter automatically detects their region based on:
- The listing portal they’re browsing (e.g., fotocasa.es → Spain, zoopla.co.uk → UK).
- The region selected during invite creation or profile setup.
Agents can view or change their region anytime under Settings → Regions and Locations → Locations.
Currency and Localization
- All prices display in the local currency of the portal or region.
- Market reports pull from region-specific datasets for accuracy.
- The interface and AI Assistant adapt to the default language set in your account.
Managing Clients Across Borders
If your clients are browsing in multiple countries (for example, a buyer from the U.S. searching in Spain):
- You’ll see all their activity in one place — the dashboard automatically normalizes it by portal and country.
- Market reports will match the region of the property, not the user’s country of origin.
- You can send invites from any supported region; the system routes users to the right localized version of HomeHunter automatically.
Best Practices for International Agents
- Always verify your default region before sending new invites.
- Encourage clients to browse from their local portals — it improves data accuracy and market insights.
- Use AI Assistant prompts like:
“Generate a market comparison between Madrid, Spain and Lisbon, Portugal.”
- When working with multiple countries, label exported contacts by region in your CSVs for cleaner tracking.
Takeaways:
- HomeHunter automatically adapts to region, currency, and language.
- You can manage clients across multiple countries from a single dashboard.
- Invites and reports are always localized to the market where the client is browsing.
