HomeHunter fully supports users’ right to request deletion of their data in compliance with global privacy standards such as GDPR and CCPA.

While in-app deletion tools are planned for a future release, all deletion requests are currently handled manually through our support team.


How Clients Can Request Deletion

Clients who wish to permanently delete their HomeHunter data can send a request to:

When submitting a request, clients should include:

  • The email address associated with their HomeHunter account
  • A short message stating that they would like their data deleted

Once the request is received:

  • The support team verifies the sender’s identity
  • The account and all associated browsing, favorites, and history data are permanently removed from our systems
  • A confirmation email is sent to the client once deletion is complete

What Happens After Deletion

  • The user’s account is permanently deleted, and no data can be recovered.
  • All associated activity is removed from both the agent’s dashboard and client account.
  • The agent will no longer see the client in their Contacts list.
  • An anonymized event record (without personal data) is retained internally for legal compliance.

How Agents Should Respond

If a client contacts you directly about deleting their account:

  1. Thank them for reaching out.
  2. Direct them to email contact@homehunter.global from the same address linked to their account.
  3. Let them know they’ll receive a confirmation once their request is processed.

Example message you can send:

“Thanks for reaching out. To permanently delete your HomeHunter account and all associated data, please send a short request to contact@homehunter.global using the same email address linked to your account. Once processed, you’ll receive a confirmation that all your data has been securely deleted.”


Compliance & Recordkeeping

  • Deletion events are recorded internally for verification and compliance.
  • No personal information is retained once the deletion process is complete.
  • Agents and teams do not need to take additional action beyond referring clients to the support email.
